		Holidays in Tabor

Tabor in the north of South Bohemia is a remarkable historic town. The town was built in the 14th century by the Hussites, the followers of church reformer Jan Hus, as a military stronghold. The town celebrated its Hussite past with the annual festival the Tabor Meeting (photo right above). The town centre features many historic buildings with ornately decorated gables and frontages.

Kutnov Tower - part of the town fortifications, the tower houses a museum about life in the middle ages
Underground tunnels - explore the extensive tunnels under the town
