Getting around the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has a good comprehensive public transport system. For specific information for different destinations please check the relevant pages. We can plan a public transport holiday for you or you can use the excellent http://www.idos.cz site.
Roads in the Czech Republic are generally good - although the Republic’s motorways are more like British dual carriageways. If you are bringing your own car, remember that you are required to use dipped headlamps during the daytime, even in the summer. You should also have your documents - insurance, registration and licence - with you at all times - you can be subject to a spotcheck..If you are planning to drive extensively in the Czech Republic, we would recommend using a satnav as Czech roads are not as well signposted.
We do not provide carhire direct. Instead, as prices can vary significantly and so can availability, we suggest you use the Carrentals search engine to get the best deal for you.
