Cesky Krumlov is probably the most perfect historic town in the Czech Republic and indeed in Europe. The UNESCO-listed town has the second-largest castle in the Czech Republic and over 300 listed buildings, lots of museums and galleries, as well as dozens of restaurants and bars. In addition to all this history Cesky Krumlov offers outdoor activities, including cycling, walking and canoeing through the beautiful South Bohemian countryside.

Artist Egon Schiele lived and worked in Cesky Krumlov, the home town of his mother. His studies of the roofs of Cesky Krumlov are lovely.
This tour takes you to Vienna, Tulln on the Danube and Cesky Krumlov as you follow in the footsteps of the controversial artist.

Stay in a self-catering apartment or cottage* in the area near the fairytale town of Cesky Krumlov. Lake Lipno is like an inland sea with a whole range of attractions and sports activities available. Hire a bike and enjoy the many trails in the area. Or you can take a walk through the treetops, visit the otters in the Sumava or take a scooter downhill. In Cesky Krumlov you will find bears in the castle moat, two puppet museums and a maze of mirrors.
